E-mail  within your group ..... why do you need is and how does it work.

There are several ways to send a e-mail within your group. Omni-Chat has the following options:

• E-mail the owner
• E-mail all managers
• E-mail all members

General:
All e-mails sent from your group will be delivered to the in-box from the e-mail address comparing to your membership on the group.  The following text will appear in the message: ATTENTION! Do not respond directly to this e-mail message.  In case you hit the button "ANSWER", please realise that your answer will not reach the owner of your group.

E-mail the owner:
Anyone who, for whatever reason, want to e-mail the owner of the groep, has this possibility. There is a function on the group for members and in case you're not a member of the group  you'll find the option on the left under "Become a member".


Where to find this opportunity as a member?
Go to the homepage of Omni-Chat. You can do that by clicking ► here ◄.

In the left corner you see:

Click on the button "Log on" as shown above and the next screen will appear:

Press in the left column on "My groups" en select the group you want to email the owner. On the left under "Member tools" you'll find "E-mail to owner":

Click as the red arrow shows to get the next screen:

• at 1. you can make your message. You can use the editor  (message layout). If you ► here ◄ you can read a complete explanation about the editor.
• at 2. enter your nickname and your real name if you want.
• at 3. enter a valid email address. The owner may use it to answer.
• at 4. enter a website when you want. This field may remain blank.
• at 5. type the code very accurately.
• at 6. choose the "Sent" when the message is satisfactory, or "Undo" if you want to start over again.

As a group owner, you can choose to send a message directly to all managers of the group. You copy and paste the message as described in the ► E-mail all managers ◄.

Where to find this opportunity as a non-member or not logged in?

If you want to reach a groupsowner directly bij mail, provide the following link: http://groups.omni-chat.com/[groupsname]. In the left colomn you see: "E-mail to owner". If you click on it, you'll see the screen as explained above. The method and use is equal.
This option is made especially so that people can report hotlink or copyright violations directly to the owner.

E-mail all managers:

All managers of the group can communicate directly with eachother via e-mail.

As an owner of manager of a group, you can sent an e-mail to all members of your group, which they will receive directly in their e-mailbox belonging to the membership on the group, Regardless the member settings on the group.
